2006 In Review

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? Blantantly and unapologetically ate meat at a strict, unaccepting, Hippie BBQ. Note: I am and Albertan but I am not a redneck. Also, dictionary.com defines barbeque as "pieces of beef, fowl, fish, or the like, roasted over an open hearth, esp. when basted in a barbecue sauce." Tempai burger my ass, bark chewer!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't recall making any. That must mean I kept them. My resolutions this year are to maintain a healthier, heartier, more organic diet.

Mom's best friend's daughter... I guess that's not so close to me.

A nasty flu in November, otherwise, the picture of health.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My car from my parents.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sisters, for sticking out a hellish final year or Nursing with an instructor who wanted nothing more than to see her fall; for graduating only to quickly move on to take another 7 week course and acquire a top postion in an intensive care unit. Go Nina!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
There's no one I'd judge so harshly.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, debt, car, insurance, and savings account. I hope that's most of it!

Vacationing with Alex to Vancouver Island, and my shiny career start!

LOST. ANTM, I can't help it.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Met up with loads of friends at Bo'Diddley's despite it being the worst snow storm ever and most of my peeps having to get out and push their cars more than once to get there. Oh, thanks for the ride Dad. I turned 24. God, I'm nearly 25. Yikes.

How many locals got off easy due to the forever retarded, Young Offenders Act! Beating someone to death is murder, I do not care how old you are. Rape and murder are a crime regardless of you being 17. Fuck off!

37. Who did you miss?
Grandpa. No past tense. I miss you.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Janna! Where have you been all along? I'm so very excited and pumped to have a new local girl friend. Why does making friends get harder as you get older? I love her!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.
It fills you with bitterness to think that your way is the best or that you can assume anything about anyone. Unless you are that person, you have no idea. Never for the grace of God go I.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I need your grace to remind me to find my own.
- Snow Patrol
