friday: worked out, ran for the first time in ages and it was easier than ever. consumed food. dawdled in the shower and thoroughly enjoyed the getting ready to go out process. waited around till 2100 for a coworker to pick me up when she was supposed to pick me up at 2030, gave up and drove myself to whyte ave. where i met more coworkers for danielle's bday. all the guys were already very drunk. justin picked me up and spun me around, joel slurred to me for a good 3 minutes with his arm around me before he paused to ask if i was uncomfortable and all i got out of jeremy was, "michelle, wow!" apparently i clean up well. ya me! the girls hit on me too so all in all, a good night. of the peeps i work with, on a sociable level, christine and adi are my favourites. both, totally cool. alex showed up and i was so happy to see me that i didn't even bother to contain myself. we left shortly after and dropped the lovely adrianne off at her girlfriend's place. back to his to snuggle, snuggle, snuggle, and then off to bed for me.
saturday: after only recieving 4 hours of sleep it was surprisingly easy to wake up for the sikh wedding i had to taped at 0745. wow. it was different than anything i'd ever seen and extremely beautiful. i had to wear a veil on my head as according to custom and then taped what i thought was the longest ceremony ever. i began at 0930 and stopped at 1100. then i went to london drugs to buy more tapes because it was apparent that was nesseccary (sp?) and to the mall to try and find something new to wear. after a long trying on period, i bought a long brown halter top with a torquise jewel at the neck to wear over long black pants. 2 hour nap. i then went off to the 2nd ceremony of the day which contained about a billion mini ceremonies within it that never ever ended. it was the hindu ceremony. also very interesting and beautiful and full of surprises to difficult to tape. i was on the tripod, off, on my knees, on the floor, lying on steps (that god i wore pants!). dustin and i skipped on the food because my stomach was bothering me (which also made for a long day) and went to wendy's. we hid out in his car so as to not offend anybody. the thing i found most interesting was that at 2330 everyone slowly walks the bride and groom out of the hall and they all hug and kiss the bride as they walk, and say little nice things to her, and she cried and sobbed the whole time all while very sad indian music was playing. i've never seen that part be so sad where just an hour before she was so happy and gave a beautiful heartfelt speech about how in love and happy she is. it was a great experience. i fled at midnight to chris' new place where my snicker doodle was playing poker. got the grand tour of the place by candace, gorgeous as always, and had a beer. then alex and i came home to my house and i had the best and most needed sleep of my life.
sunday: woke up for real at noon and had eggs, bacon and toast. too much grease. bad for the tummy. alex took nina to buy and mp3 player and i met matt to workout. kudos ma-foo! you did extremely well! booster juice, home, shower, ready, alex's, the keg, huge meal i could not finish and to his house to watch "hide and seek." scary friggin' move i hate you now robert deniro stay out of my dreams. i'm exhausted. i have tomorrow off. i can't wait!
love, peas and chicken grease
