editor's note re: march 19th, 04 post 1 - in saying that i think the director of a movie has the right to make whatever changes s/he wants, i was referring to movies of mythological/fictional base or book adaptations. however, i do feel that when adapting a historical event, very little adaptation should occur. ergo, pearl harbour or the vietnam war, etc.

what about religious interpretations? well, that i'm not so sure about. i will steer clear of the religion issue altogether.
