last wednesday cathaleen called me and asked me to sleepover this saturday. i was shocked and amazed! cathaleen is someone i hear from very rarely these days though i do love to see her, and know what's going on in her life. we used to be best friends and since we are no longer, i've had no other friend like her. i went to her place at about 8 and we sat around talking, got ready and then went out. things are different, yet more or less the same. and i've accepted that this is just the friendship we will have from now on. occassional, yet still good, and i feel whole-heartedly, that it is still a reliable one.
