had such a great night on saturday! alex and i went for dinner at "flavours." very yummy new place on whyte ave. where "carol's sweets" used to be. appetizer: spinach vegetable dip with fresh pita. but they weren't pita's. they were hunks of toasted buttered homemade bread. pizza for dinner. alex had a roast beef sandwich with chicken ceaser salad. the sauce was incredible! water to drink and total price was $37 and $43 with tip. good service. good food. nice atmosphere. good conversation. but that has nothing to do with the quality of restaurant and everything to do with the person i was with! hopped across the street after for chai tea and hot chocolate at "block 1912." they have lactose free ice cream there! we'll be back for that. cost: $7. then we rented "house of sand and fog." excellent movie. very upsetting. very tear worthy. i thought i might be having a breakdown. maybe alex thought so too but he handled it. he's good with my tears. good swimmer that boy is. movie: $5.34. total cost of evening: $55.34. whoa. holy shit. i guess that's not so bad as evening's go though. good times. i should write restaurant reviews.

i am über stressed. exam tomorrow. i studied on the weekend. need to study more. average in that class is 73%. need to bring it closer to 80% before the final at the end of april. hard course. i seem to get it and then struggle with the exams. certaintly can't have my mark fall any. i need a nap now though. i'm very tired. will sleep till 6.

crave the end of the year! so much hard work to get through before it's here. it's all the more difficult because it's gorgeous outside. what am i talking about? i couldn't focus with 6 feet of snow on the ground!
