and that's how life has felt lately. however, many clarifying moments at school today. got confused, asked all the right questions, figured out the answers and charged on through. i hear you're just supposed to screw your eyes shut, plug your ears and charge on through. that's my motto for this semester.
i was running on the treadmill and thinking about cardiovascular stuff and anaesthesia stuff, just thinking and trying to recall key points, and i was so surprised when i actually could. i had the best run as of late. 3km in 21.14 without once getting off or stopping to go to the washroom as i often have to do. damn bowels jiggling! and when i stopped, i felt like i should have just kept going. however, time was a factor. when i actually checked my notes to see if i had been right about stuff, i had been. looks like my study methods are working, praise the lord!
2.5 hours of homework tonight and i'm not done. the 10 minute study break has become 45. i wish i did not eat sleep and breathe (get it? breathe! that's a respiratory joke!) this stuff but i guess i have to. i'll get out what i put in, right matt? i just hate that i don't really have anything other than school to discuss.
i will be going shopping this weekend to find some fancy sneakers. yip! yip!
oh and very good news! Scheherazade is getting married! she got engaged 2 weeks ago, i guess. and they are to be wed on September 23rd! isn't that so great? i'm very happy for her. she deserves happy to the power of 1000!
