only 2 more tests left. don't know how well the last few have gone. my lab exam today left a bad taste in my mouth. i'm so uncertain of whether or not i even did it right. allan gave me no feedback and i won't know my mark until later. uh! i hope i justified all my choices appropriately. i got caught a little off guard, and think in retrospect that volume control might have been better than pressure control for my patient. at least then i would have had a decent tidal volume. but i was concerned about over distension and volume control doesn't protect against that. but, i should have tried to blow off his CO2s and volume control would have done that better than pressure! oh i just don't know.
i have specialized patient care tomorrow. then diagnostics.
i long for thursday when i can flail dance to "reach for the sun" by polyphonic spree. what a song!
