my baby sister nina was sick yesterday. started in the morning. she went shopping and came back puking. i tried to make her drink water and lots of it, but she couldn't she felt so sick. soon, she was so sick it was out of both ends. sorry, there is no pretty way to say these things. we were so scared! she muscles were spasming she was so dehydrated and then i thought she might be hypokalemic (low on potassium) because that is a symptom. my parents took her to emergency and they put her on IV saline sol'n. her potassium was the lowest of the normal range (3.5-5.0) so they didn't give her any. i was so scared! when they left i started to cry! she had me so freaked out! she was all whiny and saying how she didn't want to do and don't make me go and i said, "look, you're scaring me alot. you're going. you'll be fine as long as you go." she could barely walk! they were gone for hours but when they came back, she looked so much better. she's sleeping in bed now and still sick, but better. geez nina, don't scare me like that!
i finished the time traveller's wife. i wasn't going to. i got a sad part and stopped. my dad got out of bed at 2am to watch some tv and said, "i thought you planned to finish that?" as i was crying on the couch with about 20 pages left. i told him i couldn't bear it because it was about to get worse! he said, "i was like that with old yeller. but there was happiness at the end. there always is, michelle." and i did finish it and sobbed my eyes out. it is the best book ever! i thougth after reading fugitive pieces years ago by anne micheals i would never find another truly beautiful book. i was wrong. this one makes the list! hurry up and finish it rhian!
